TPH Kicks Off 2021-22 Tournaments with Top Talent in Grand Rapids
It is that time of the year again! Time to pack the game sweaters and get some fresh tape on the twig, because we are ready to kick off the tournament season. Twenty-three teams are on their way to Michigan this weekend to face off in TPH’s first event of the 2021-22 season, the Grand Rapids AAA Kickoff Classic.
The games will start on August 27th, and run through the 29th, with the opening match being between Honey Baked Hockey 15O AAA and the hometown Fox Motors 15U AAA. Over the 46 game weekend, coaches will be shuffling lines as the players’ offseason training is put to the test.
These early four games are not just a litmus test for the year, but an opportunity for players to get on a scout’s radar early. For any AAA hockey event, providing an opportunity for exposure is critical and in addition to inviting scouts and providing accommodations at the facility for the scouts, TPH is excited about their latest offer to our participants.
TPH and its partner The Prospect Exchange will be providing all the participating players with Premium X. Premium X powered by ICEBERG Analytics will give each player access to their personal video and analytics from their games in this event. Premium X will be a resource for the players to learn more about their game and share their skills with coaches. Every team manager should have received or will receive instructions for participant registration.
This event will be TPH’s first in Grand Rapids and the first of two in the state of Michigan this season. Below is an overview of this event.
