About Steve Quailer

Steve Quailer grew up playing his youth hockey in Colorado for the Colorado Outlaws (currently the Rocky Mountain Roughriders). In 2007 Quailer was drafted to the Sioux City Musketeers and played the 2007-2008 season. There he had tied for the team’s most points and was selected to the USHL All-Star Game, the USHL All-Rookie Team, and drafted in the 3rd round to the Montreal Canadiens. In 2008 Quailer committed to Northeastern University, where he played for the Huskies from 2008-2012. During that time, Quailer was selected to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team, was an assistant captain, and played in the NCAA tournament with the Huskies. From 2012-2014 Quailer played in the American Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens affiliate and the Las Angeles Kings affiliate and from 2014-2015, he was in the Dallas Stars system playing in the East Coast Hockey League for the Idaho Steelheads. After his playing career, he coached the Metro State Road Runners Men’s Hockey team from 2015-2020. The Roadrunners had made two national tournaments and four regional tournaments in the ACHA. Quailer currently is the head coach for the Rocky Mountain Roughriders 15U team and will be helping train/mentor players of all ages at TPH Superior under Director Matt Doman.
