About Michael Grabner

Michael, a Villach, Austria native, and former professional hockey player, is a Player Development Coach & Mentor at the TPH Center of Excellence in Phoenix. Following his youth hockey career in Austria, he competed in the WHL for the Spokane Chiefs before being drafted 14th overall in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft. Grabner is an 11-year NHL veteran as he played for the New York Islanders, Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs and Arizona Coyotes.

He also had the honor of representing his home Country of Austria, in both Junior and Senior tournaments, including the 2014 Winter Olympics. Michael and his wife have three children, Aidan, Olivia and Benjamin. Grabner is currently the Head Coach for the 2011 AAA Jr. Coyotes; advancing players.
