The eyes of the hockey world turn to Toronto as the 57th annual 2026 OHL Cup tournament gets underway later this month. Running from March 30th to April 4th, this year’s event marks a historic milestone with an expanded field of 25 teams, making it the largest and most competitive OHL Cup showcase in history. For the prospects of Team TPH, this isn’t just another tournament—it is the ultimate platform to perform under the bright lights of the Scotiabank Pond and the legendary Mattamy Athletic Centre.
As one of the exclusive U.S.-based entries invited to the 2026 OHL Cup, Team TPH arrives with a roster of prospects ready to make their mark. With over 200 scouts from the OHL, USHL, and NCAA Division-I programs in attendance, the stakes for the 2026 OHL Priority Selection have never been higher. Our roster features a diverse group of high-IQ players, combining on-ice skill with the discipline required to succeed at the next level.
The road to the OHL Cup is paved with hard work, and our 2010-born athletes are prepared to continue TPH’s legacy of advancement. From lockdown defenders to calculated finishers, this group is ready to compete against the top minor midget programs in North America.

Alexander Filatov, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights
A dual nationality of American and Czechia, Alexander Filator has spent the last two seasons playing for the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights. Filatov scored 32 goals and 57 points this season for a Knights team that ranked 32nd in the country, according to MyHockeyRankings.
Luke Hartman, South Kent School
In his first season at South Kent, Luke Hartman led the Cardinal in goals (73) and points (128). He also spent 15 games playing up on the 16U team, where he added another five goals and 11 points in 15 games. A native of Mullica Hill, New Jersey, the right-handed forward provides a scorer’s touch up front.
Quinn Kaiser, Team Illinois
A standout at previous youth hockey tournaments like the World Selects Invitational and Steel Icebreaker. Quinn Kaiser has spent his entire youth hockey career in the Chicago area. He’s been a standout for Team Illinois each of the last three seasons.
Maksym McCabe, Windy City Storm
He’s a North Carolina native who recently transplanted to Chicago to play for the Windy City Storm this season. Maksym McCabe provided balance to the heart of the Storm lineup this season, adding 23 goals and 42 points in 53 games.
Eric Obrebski, Chicago Reapers
Eric Obrebski has spent the last three seasons in the Chicago Reapers youth hockey organization. He scored 27 goals for the second consecutive season, and totaled 51 points; a single-season high for the 5-foot-9 forward.
Nathan Pavelski, Madison Capitols
Born in San Jose, California, Nathan Pavelski has played each of the last two seasons for the Madison Capitols. In that time, he’s posted back-to-back 60-point campaigns. Last season, he led the Caps to a 39-31-0 record ranking 21st in the country, according to MHR.
Mikey Peterson, Nashville Jr. Predators
The 6-foot-1 forward has played his entire youth hockey career for the Nashville Jr. Predators, and was a point-per-game player on the 14U team last season. Mikey Peterson is currently enrolled at TPH Academy, and is one of two Team TPH players representing the Jr. Preds at the OHL Cup.
Christopher Pinko, North Jersey Avalanche
Christopher Pinko has a decorated youth hockey resume, including trips to Pee-Wee Quebec and the World Selects Invitational. Most recently, the 5-foot-7 forward scored 29 goals and 73 points in 47 games with the North Jersey Avalanche.
Lee Russom, Team Maryland
He’s led Team Maryland’s 2010 group each of the past two seasons, and split time in ‘25-26 between the club’s 16U and 15U teams. Lee Russom is a powerful forward, consistently around the hard parts of the ice with an ability to get to the net front.
Alex Stiehr, St. Louis AAA Blues
Alex Stiehr shows good awareness and positioning particularly in the defensive zone. He’s shown an ability to do a little bit of everything with the AAA Blues over the past three seasons, scoring goals, backchecking and defending.
Caiven Walos, Madison Capitols
He’s reached the 100-point plateau in back-to-back seasons with the Madison Capitols. Caiven Walos has an offensive knack, but also demonstrates an ability to have a positive impact in all three zones from the forward position.

Mason Drouin, Nichols School
Mason Drouin is a 6-foot-2 defender with long strides and good reach. He played for Nichols School in ‘25-26 after spending the previous two seasons with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres. He brings size, strength and smarts to the back end for Team TPH.
Mason Gabler, Madison Capitols
Good at maneuvering along the blue line and getting pucks to the net. Mason Gabler has a large frame for the age group, listed at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds. He was a standout defender on this season’s 15th ranked nationally Caps 15U team.
Jake Hall, Notre Dame Academy
In 57 games this season for Notre Dame, Jake Hall totaled nine goals and 42 points; most among defensemen on the team. He’s long and uses that reach to his advantage defensively. Hall can also head-man the puck and lead the rush when lanes open up.
Jonathan Jalcovik, Windy City Storm
He’s a physical presence on the back end that engages with opposing forwards along the walls. Jonathan Jalcovik maintains an active stick as well. He’s a busy defender who’s been very involved in the Windy City Storm offense each of the last two seasons as well.
Ethan Mears, St. Louis AAA Blues
His 6-foot-4 frame is hard to miss. Ethan Mears is a physical presence who uses his strength in the corners to engage in puck battles. That, coupled with his defensive awareness made Mears the cornerstone of the Blues’ defensive efforts during the ‘25-26 season.
Grayson Schiavoni, Black Bear Academy
A standout for the second-year Black Bear Academy program, Grayson Schiavoni scored 10 goals and 22 points this season. He’s confident with the puck and likes to have the game on his stick with a chance to make a play.
Quincy Torrez, Madison Capitols
Quincy Torrez was a key part of the 15th ranked Madison Capitols this season. Leaned on as a top defender on the team and expected to contribute offensively. Torrez added nine goals and 21 assists in ‘25-26 for his second straight 30-point season.

Nate Muehl, Madison Capitols
He’s won 20-plus games each of the last two seasons with the Madison Capitols, maintaining a 2.35 goals-against average in ‘25-26. Nate Muehl helped the Caps get out to a 14-1-0 start before finishing among the Top 25 teams in the country at season’s end.
Cooper Nordaune, Oakland Jr. Grizzlies
An Arizona native who’s had stops with the Cleveland Barons, Fox Motors and Oakland Jr. Grizzlies. Cooper Nordaune is a 6-foot goaltender who played 17 games this season against a Top-30 strength of schedule.
Team TPH will play a 5-game slate at the 2026 OHL Cup against elite-level competition. Round-robin action gets underway at the Scotiabank Pond on March 25th. Team TPH will battle through a demanding slate of four divisional games against the top-ranked minor midget programs from the GTHL, OMHA, and ALLIANCE.
