Team TPH Advances to Quarterfinals at the 2026 OHL Cup
Team TPH has advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 OHL Cup, continuing Total Package Hockey’s long tradition of strong performances at one of the premier U16 hockey tournaments in North America.
Every year, the OHL Cup brings together many of the top U16 players in Ontario and across North America. Team TPH is built each year through months of evaluation, preparation, and planning by Coach Francis Anzalone and staff, and when the group finally comes together for the tournament, they are ready to compete.
The 2026 Team TPH group has followed that same path, growing stronger throughout the tournament and earning a spot in the OHL Cup Quarterfinals through depth, resilience, and team play.
Team TPH opened the tournament with a 13-1 win over the Thunder Bay Kings. Luke Hartman scored twice, while Mikey Peterson and Jake Hall each recorded multi-goal performances. Jake Hall was named Player of the Game in the opening win.
In game two, Team TPH defeated the Barrie Jr. Colts 3-2 in a tight game. Quinn Kaiser and Caiven Walos scored early, and Maksym McCabe scored the game-winning goal in the third period. Caiven Walos, who finished with a goal and an assist, was named Player of the Game.
Team TPH’s round robin loss came against the London Jr. Knights by a score of 6-4. TPH goals were scored by Quinn Kaiser, Luke Hartman, Mason Drouin, and Lee Russom. Mason Drouin was named Player of the Game.
Team TPH closed out round robin play with a 6-3 win over the Don Mills Flyers to secure first place in the McDavid Division and advance to the OHL Cup Quarterfinals. Quinn Kaiser scored twice, Maksym McCabe scored the game-winning goal, and Christopher Pinko recorded a three-point game and was named Player of the Game.
Several Team TPH players have been among the OHL Cup tournament leaders. Quinn Kaiser has eight points and is currently on a five-game goal streak. Maksym McCabe has recorded two game-winning goals, and Christopher Pinko leads the tournament with a +/- of 11.
Team TPH will face the Toronto Jr. Canadiens in the 2026 OHL Cup Quarterfinals on April 2 at 12:15 PM EST, continuing their tournament run.
For Team TPH, the goal remains the same: continue competing, continue improving, and continue representing Total Package Hockey on one of the biggest stages in minor hockey.
