JP Dumont, a native of Montreal, Quebec, is a Player Development Mentor & Coach for the TPH Center of Excellence in Nashville. Dumont is also the Director of Hockey Operations and head coach of the 15U AAA Nashville Jr Predators. He played four seasons with the Val-d'Or Foreurs of the QMJHL and was part of the championship team in 1998. Dumont was selected third overall by the New York Islanders in the 1996 NHL entry draft, and he made his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1998-99 season. Following two season with the Blackhawks, he then spent five with the Buffalo Sabres and then five more with the Nashville Predators. He retired from playing in 2012 and settled in Nashville, TN.


- Played in 822 NHL games, amassing 523 points with three teams
- Won a Gold Medal with Team Canada at the 2004 World Championships
- Owned the Nashville Jr. Predators of the NA3HL for three seasons and was head coach in 2016-2017
- Current head coach of the Montgomery Bell Academy hockey team playing in the Greater Nashville Area Scholastic Hockey league
