Brendan Burke, a Scottsdale, Arizona native and former Jr. Coyote ‘AAA’ goaltender, is a Player Development Coach & Mentor at the TPH Center of Excellence in Phoenix. Following his Tier 1 career, he competed for five years in the Canadian Hockey League, including stops with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks, Calgary Hitmen and the London Knights of the OHL. In 2013, he won a WHL Championship with Portland Winterhawks. In 2015-16, he won the CHL Memorial Cup as a member of the London Knights and was the recipient of the Dave Pinkney Award, given to the top goalie tandem in the OHL. Burke was also selected 163rd overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by his hometown Coyotes. Burke most recently completed his fourth season playing for the University of Alberta where he was nominated for UAB’s prestigious Randy Gregg Award, presented to a student-athlete who excels on the ice, in the classroom and in the community, as well as a 2020 Academic All-Canadian award recipient
