What is the OHL Cup?
The 2009 OHL Showcase for the OHL Cup will be played at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, from March 18, 2009 through March 22, 2009. The tournament will include 20 participating teams from across Ontario and the United States. The champions and finalists from minor hockey associations in Ontario, including the GTHL, OMHA, ODMHA, ALLIANCE, and an NOHA representative will participate in the tournament with additional teams identified by the Tournament Selection Committee.

He writes, "The Ontario Hockey League affords players the opportunity to develop for professional hockey while achieving the highest levels of academic success at the high school and post secondary level. 100% of OHL players attend high school, post secondary or are high school graduates. Every player in the Ontario Hockey League receives a scholarship to be used at any post secondary institution in the world. Players do not have to jeopardize being successful student athletes while preparing for a professional hockey career in the premier development league in the world!"
